In-House Deco - Artcraft uses third-party embroiderers and screen printers for large orders to achieve the lowest cost. Sometimes, more flexibility is required or we may brand a small number of items every day for the same client. These types of recurring small-batch orders are ideal for our in-house decoration operation.
Examples:
500 Polos for client event - not a good candidate for In-House Deco.
A company store that will order 1,000 polos throughout the year, averaging 3-4 every day with the same logo or a fixed set of logo options. This a good project for in-house deco.

How to Handle in SAP
Webstore Items - The SKU must be created correctly. If it is created correctly, any orders for the SKU will be sent to the deco room and fulfilled. To be correctly created, the SKU for an In-House Deco item must
- have "#4 - In-House Deco Product" selected on the properties tab
- have all decoration information required by the deco room in the "Additional Description" UDF.
- If either of the above is missing, watch this video and update the item Updating SAP B1 Properties and UDFs for In-House Deco SKUs
Non-webstore items - There are instances where it may make sense to use our in-house embroidery services for a non-webstore order. This can be done if the deco room has capacity.
Before booking any orders for in-house embroidery, let Scott W know the logo, quantity, and what goods are being embroidered. He will let you know if we have in-house capacity as well as the production time.
